Strathmore accepts funding for golf club water licence
Town council highlighted a $561,000 water capital reserve allocation tied to the Strathmore Golf Club licence. The underlying EPA authorization already carried a 2004 priority into municipal hands.
On 20 May 2026, Town of Strathmore council meeting highlights recorded acceptance of $561,000 from the water capital reserve for the Strathmore Golf Club water licence. The figure is a municipal funding signal. It is one of the clearer public price markers attached to a recent Bow corridor transfer.
The EPA authorization on the Water Register dossier is DAUT0016069. The permanent transfer to the Town of Strathmore closed on 10 May 2024, carrying priority 2004-03-12-0001.
